Community Notices

Important reminders from your Board of Directors and management team.

Reminder

Call Box & Visitor Access

Please contact Terra West to have your name added to the call box directory at the gate. The phone number you provide is the number that will ring when a visitor calls you.

When a visitor calls, you can open the gate for them by pressing 9 on your phone.

Please ask your service providers (for example, landscapers) not to write on the call box area.

Compliance

Architectural (ARC) Approval Required

A completed and approved Architectural Review Committee (ARC) application is required before any work begins, including painting, landscaping, and building.

  • Rocks and other landscaping materials must not be dumped in the street. Lay down a tarp and place the material on the tarp inside your yard or driveway.
  • Dumpsters must be placed in the driveway.

The application and paint colors are available under Forms & Resources.

Reminder

Keep Your Contact Information Current

Please make sure Terra West has a current email address and phone number for you. As the association moves toward email-only communication, going digital helps keep the budget down by saving copying, envelope, and postage costs.

Reminder

Trash Cans Out of Sight

Please pull your trash cans off the street and out of view after collection. See Trash & Bulk Pickup for the full rules and upcoming bulk pickup dates.

Community Health

Please Do Not Feed Pigeons

Under Clark County code, feeding pigeons is illegal and can result in a fine of up to $1,000 or up to six months in jail.

Pigeon droppings are highly acidic and can corrode concrete and other structures. Pigeons also nest in rooftop A/C units, where they can cause damage and clog the equipment, and they can carry diseases that affect people, including illnesses of the respiratory system.

To report a pigeon nuisance: visit pigeoncontrol.vegas or call 311.
